Thanks for all the info ! California is much prettier than So. I like most of the people here in Hemet, and the small gems I find around the town.

Every place you live has its good and bad characteristics.

I could literally go on forever. Clean air, beautiful weather, nicer neighbors, affordable property values, beautiful lakes with space to live, etc.

And there is a very low crime rate there. July 12, 2015 at 11:24 pm

The author loves Clearlake & that’s certainly awesome – I would guess the residence of this person may be in an established, decent area-there are a few areas-scattered around that can be liveable places but the rest of areas are borderline ghettos, drugs & crime rampant & if you have the opportunity to chat with a recently released person incarcerated in the Lake County jail-regardless of their actual location of residence-they have this known saying: “Come here on vacation-leave on probation”. So writer, if you are going to make a list, do it impartially.

Although, I haven't spent much time here I can already kind of tell what kind of environment it is. Say what you want about cheap living. One road was created & one widened & paved near “Deadbud” (Redbud aka: St.Helena) Hospital. I live right by a high school and at night time, there are always people driving crazy in their empty parking lot.

  • Well, you are wrong. Watsonville as well as Teviston, Pixley, Tipton, Dinuba, Woodlake, Farmersville, Ivanhoe, Poplar and a lot of Porterville are full of illegal immigrants, manufactured drugs and drug addicts who neglect and abandon their children, families and responsibilities
  • My dad built a new house here in Wasco in 1928 and it is still there. Another thing that I like about Hemet is how supportive the people are with others, however, not all people support each other.
